Dr. Amir, innovator, entrepreneur, and a community activist, founded Essence in 1994, following technology leadership positions in global companies such as HP, Digital, and IBM, where he learned about business through hands-on experience. Dr. Amir holds a BSc in Electronics and MBA cum laude from the Technion, and a PhD in Computer Science and Electronics cum laude from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Eliaz has many years of experience in managing large-scale organizations, most recently in the Israeli Ministry of Defense and before that, in the IDF. He combines integrative management capabilities, building short and long-term plans, formulating and achieving goals. Eliaz is a leader who is adept at harnessing the skills of employees, colleagues and managers alike; effectively managing resources and budgets of up to hundreds of millions of shekels a year, multidisciplinary technological and operational projects with a high degree of complexity, and with deep systemic understanding, assimilating teamwork and a quiet leadership style.

Mr. Amir founded Essence USA Inc. in 2012 and opened the North American region for Essence. He has over 13 years of experience in the Security and Care markets in management positions at technology companies. In 2013, the Worldwide Who’s Who organization proclaimed Yaniv Amir as the Executive of the year representing the Security Solutions Industry. He holds a BA and MSc Summa cum laude in Computer Science both from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, Israel.

Hagai leads the overall operations and R&D activities at Essence Group, supporting all business divisions. His responsibilities include overseeing production of millions of devices annually, logistics and purchasing as well as helping to lead the company’s development strategy of new solutions and technologies. Hagai holds a BSc in electronics engineering and an MBA.

Iris is Essence’s Senior VP for Strategic Finance, and the head of the board of Essence Interactive Center in Spain. Iris has over 30 years of experience in finance and business. Her last role was Private Investment and Banking Division Manager at Israel Discount Bank. Iris led all the clients’ investments in the bank, all the investment and pension consultants and centers. She was responsible for a large group that managed customer satisfaction, regulation, enforcement, compliance and control, and business performances. Iris holds two master’s degrees, one in Business Management (MBA), from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, and one master’s degree in Philosophy, Science and Digital Culture, with honors, from Tel Aviv University. Iris also a Director at Haifa University, on a voluntary basis.

Ohad is the Chief Technology Officer of Essence Group, overseeing the technological roadmap of the group, in this capacity he is responsible for introducing new innovations to Essence’s portfolio. Ohad holds a BSc in Computer Engineering.

Eli came to Essence in 2022 and in January 2024 was promoted to his current position of VP R&D. He is a highly experienced, multidisciplinary system software professional with a proven track record of leadership and managerial capabilities, specializing in software development management at companies such as Elbit, 3M and AeroScout. Eli is leads Essence’s multi-faceted R&D group and is responsible for driving its efforts to develop market-leading, state of the art security solutions. Eli holds a BSc in Mechanics and Computer Science.

Sharon Klainer Weizenbluth is Essence's Chief Strategy Officer and a member of the Management Committee. She is responsible for development and implementation of Essence's overall corporate strategy, business development, partnerships, strategic investments and acquisitions. Sharon has more than 19 years of extensive experience in leading organizations across different industries. Prior to Essence, Sharon served as Chief Financial Officer and as a member of different Management Committees at different global companies. She holds a Master of Business Administration awarded by the University of Tel-Aviv and a Bachelor of Economics and Major in accounting from the University of Haifa. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.

Katia Gurevitch is Essence's VP Finance . Katia has more than 25 years of experience of financial leadership in a variety of international hi-tech companies that sell hardware and software products. She has served as a member of the executive management team of both public and private companies. In her last role Katia led the finance department of a private global tech company and managed its IPO process. Previously, Katia served in senior finance roles, where she led M&A initiatives and post-merger integration. Katia is a CPA and holds a BA in Economics & Accounting from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and an MBA, with a major in Finance, from Ono Academic College.

Karin is the GM of Essence SmartCare. Prior to that, Karin was the Global Chief Marketing Officer at Essence. Karin has over 20 years of experience in marketing. Her last role was Global CMO of SodaStream, where she led the global brand and marketing strategy, product innovation, communication, consumer insights and digital transformation. Previously, she was Vice President of Global Marketing at Tiny Love, an Israeli global leader in the field of developmental toys for infants and she led the global marketing at Cineworld, the world's second largest movie theatre and entertainment chain. Prior to Cineworld, Karin ran the marketing of Tivol brand at Nestle. Karin also had international experience from her time with the Boston Consulting Group and her position as the Marketing VP of Tnuva in the US. Karin holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Sociology and an MBA with honors from Tel Aviv University.

Gil is the CISO and CIO of Essence Group. As a CIO, responsible for development, implementation, and operation of the enterprise information technology policy. As a CISO, he directs the strategy, operations and budget for the protection of the enterprise information assets and managing the information security program. Gil holds MSc in Technology and Information Systems.
